Coldplay’s Chris Martin brings up Astronomer CEO kiss cam scandal… AGAIN!

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin pokes fun at Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot’s infamous kiss-cam moment, weeks after the British rock band unintentionally exposed the extramarital affair of Astronomer’s former CEO and HR head.

More than a month since Coldplay’s Jumbotron uncovered the scandalous romance of New York-based DataOps company Astronomer’s then CEO Andy Byron and Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, during the July 16 gig in Boston’s Gillette Stadium, the band’s lead singer, Chris Martin, brought it up once again, while performing at Wembley Stadium in London, over the weekend.

Lifestyle News – Latest Entertainment News, Celebrity Gossip

It happened during the Friday show, when a concertgoer held up a sign to the camera, stating that he wanted to propose to his partner during Coldplay’s performance.

Responding to him, Martin said, “OK, now listen, my brother, I need you to nod as I do some basic security checks, OK?”

He went on to question, “Is this person your partner? Yes? No one else’s partner? OK,” referring to Byron and Cabot’s incident, leaving the crowd in laughter.

“Are you cousins or siblings or anything weird like that? … Are you AI? Are you real people?” he asked further. “OK, then I think we can continue.”

For the uninitiated, the entire controversy erupted last month, when Byron and Cabot, both presumably married to different partners at that time, were caught red-handed on the kiss-cam, in a rather intimate embrace.

In an awkward flash response upon the realisation that they were being seen by the entire stadium, Byron quickly ducked behind a barrier, while a visibly embarrassed Cabot covered her face with her hands.

Notably, both Byron and Cabot have since resigned from their respective positions at Astronomer.

Pakistan’s passport is placed at 96th number on the Henley Passport Index 2025, according to the latest global rankings released by Henley & Partners.

In the latest quarterly update of the Henley Passport Index, created by the London-based global citizenship and residence advisory firm Henley & Partners, the US — which held the No. 1 position back in 2014 — has slipped down to the 10th place in the rankings.

It’s the lowest position ever for the US in the 20-year history of the index, which tracks the global freedom of movement for holders of 199 passports to 227 countries and territories around the world, using exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

And because Henley counts multiple countries with the same score as a single spot in its standings, there are actually 33 countries that outrank the US on the list.

World Bank approves $47.9m grant to improve primary education in Pakistan

WASHINGTON: The World Bank on Monday approved a $47.9 million grant to improve primary education in Pakistan, focusing on expanding early childhood schooling, re-enrolling out-of-school children, and strengthening teacher support in Punjab.

The grant, provided through the Global Partnership for Education Fund, aims to raise participation of boys and girls at pre-primary and primary levels, improve learning outcomes, and enhance remedial support at the elementary level.

The World Bank said in a statement that the “Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services and System Transformation in Punjab Project” will also improve the education sector’s responsiveness to climate change and emergencies.

“This project represents a crucial step towards addressing learning poverty and ensuring equitable access to quality education across Punjab,” said Bolormaa Amgaabazar, World Bank Country Director for Pakistan. “By strengthening foundational learning, enhancing system capacity, and promoting behavioral change, the project will support long-term human capital development and economic growth.”

  • Alexander Isak may still go to Liverpool

Alexander Isak may still go to Liverpool

With the transfer window deadline fast approaching, Liverpool are still optimistic to pull off the Alexander Isak signing this summer.

Football- Soccer News from Around The World

The Reds are still looking to add strength in their attack, after the departure of both Darwin Núñez and Luis Díaz, and the sad demise of Diogo Jota.

With Alexandar Isak trying to leave Newcastle United, Liverpool may come up with a fresh bid on Monday night.

Their initial bid for the striker was rejected by the Magpies and haven’t returned since.

Liverpool saw their opening bid for Isak rejected and haven’t returned since, although the situation may change after Monday’s game is complete.

The 25-year-old reported late after the summer break and trained with his former club Real Sociedad. He was the only member of the 2024-25 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) team of the year not to attend the award ceremony, citing “everything going on.”

“When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can’t continue. That’s where things are for me right now — and why change is in the best interest of everyone, not just myself,” Isak said on Instagram.

Moyes thrilled for Grealish, who shines in Everton’s 2-0 win over Brighton

He was left out of the pre-season squad for the tour of Asia. He eventually returned to training at the start of the month.

However, he missed the season opener against Aston Villa, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

And with just six days remaining in the window, Liverpool are once again placing a bid of the Sweden international .

According to Ian Doyle in the Liverpool Echo, there have been “signs” that Newcastle are relenting in their stance that Isak is not for sale.

He suggests that Isak’s move to Anfield will happen “sooner rather than later” and that a £130million deal might be enough to seal it.

On the other hand, The Daily Mail’s Craig Hope stated that Isak is “almost certain” to stay at Newcastle this summer.

Indeed, it does feel incredibly unlikely that the club will sanction his exit.

However, the fact that Liverpool do not appear to be looking at any other alternatives does point to a certain degree of confidence in the Isak deal.
