Asif Ali Zardari reached Karachi in the evening on Thursday, while he is expected to meet some key political figures and to play his role in ending the persisting political deadlock in the country.
Earlier to this, he was there in UAE, where he also presided a meeting of the PPP central executive committee (CEC) and held consultation over the political standoff in Pakistan.
On the other hand, Leader of the Opposition, Khursheed Shah said if the rigging allegations are proven, it be easy to demand a resignation from the prime minister.
