CHITRAL: Chitral Police on Thursday arrested the man who harassed young Kalash women a few days ago in the district while making their video sans their consent.
Chitral’s women police officials arrested the suspect, Aemal Khan, in Peshawar on directive of District Police Officer Chitral Mansoor Aman. In the picture released by Chitral Police, the harasser can be seen handcuffed by a lady police.
“The purpose behind getting him arrested by women police is to make him realise that Chitral’s women are not weak and they cannot be harassed,” said Chitral Police.
This should be noted that the video made by the same man which went viral on the internet. The abasing act was universally upbraided by social media users. DPO Chitral thanked all those raised the issue on social media.
