Police said the first incident took place in Satellite Town near Jatak Stop, where unidentified assailants opened fire at a vehicle killing two people on the spot, while another succumbed to wounds upon reaching hospital.
Acting swiftly, the cops rounded up six suspects and seized weapons from them.
The other incident occurred near Ispini Road in which two people including a woman were shot dead.
Officials said the incident seems to be honor killing; however no arrests were made in its wake.
