PESHAWAR: Windows of several buildings and shops were shattered after an explosion took place at a house in the area of Aijazabad, ARY News reports on Friday.
According to police sources, the explosion occurred after unidentified persons placed an explosive device outside the house and fled away. No casualties reported in the incident.
Windows of nearby building were broken whereas the house was partially destroyed by the explosion.
Police stated that 1 to 1.5 kilograms of explosives were used in the bomb device. A case has been filed against unidentified persons at Gulbahar Police Station and the search for the unknown persons has been initiated.
