Our addiction to social media applications is growing to an alarming level. One of the most used such applications, WhatsApp in its latest version has introduced a new feature to more ‘spoil’ the youngsters.

The messaging app has increased the limit for sharing images, videos and GIFs. Android and iOS users will now be able to send files on WhatsApp up to 100 MB – previously it was 64 MB.

This will largely help people at work to send files they would’ve previously had to send through email.

The latest version also groups together photos into an album that are sent to you by one sender.

The update would soon be available (if it has not been now) to download on iPhones and Androids, as it was rolled out on Friday.

Another feature is reportedly on the anvil that will allow users to play YouTube videos within the WhatsApp. This means you will not leave the app while watching the video clip.
