Addressing at event in Peshawar, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq heavily criticised both PPP leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the current federal government. “Who will talk about the existing RAW network in the sugar mills of Punjab?” he asked.

Siraj also went on to say that Punjab government had passed the Punjab Protection for Women Against Violence bill in order to appease the western lobby.

“Religious institutions and madressahs are a headache for anti-Islam forces,” he said.

Siraj-ul-Haq had earlier been one of the most vocal critics of the bill which had been passed by Punjab Assembly a couple of months ago. Conservative elements within Pakistan had viewed the bill as un-Islamic.
