The plot of the film circles around a group of people surviving a zombie apocalypse following the outbreak of a deadly virus.
It is upto Alice (Milla Jovovich) and a small group of survivors to save the world from destruction.
The film stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, William Levy, Ruby Rose and Iain Glen. The action thriller has been directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter was previously scheduled to be released on September 12, 2014 but was delayed as the filming of the flick ended late.
It will now be released on January 27 next year.
