Taking to the fan platform WeVerse on Wednesday morning, J-Hope treated millions of fans across the world, called ARMY, with his first pictures in uniform. “Everyone in the ARMY!!! I have completed it [training] well. The letters and support that you have all sent have been a great help, that’s why I was able to work hard while receiving training,” the rapper wrote with the clicks.

He added, “I will continue to work hard and show you the good sides of me during the rest of my time when I’ll be wearing the uniform! I love you!! 💜…cellphone is fascinating …. hahahaha.”

Reacting to the pictures, a fan on Twitter wrote, “I’m so proud of hobi! he looks great in his uniform,” while another commented, “Hobi, my sunshine, I’m proud of you, I miss him so much.”

BTS star Jungkook begs the ARMY

It is pertinent to mention here that J-Hope, 29, began his mandatory military service last month, following the eldest member of the septet, Jin.

South Korea requires all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 to serve in the military for about two years, a measure that has long been a source of controversy. A 2019 revision of the law allowed globally recognised K-pop sensation, BTS to delay service until the age of 30.
