PESHAWAR: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered re-polling in Dara Adam Khel following the violent incidents during the first phase of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local government (KP) polls yesterday, citing sources, ARY News reported on Monday.
Sources told ARY News that almost 300 men on motorcycle had kept patrolling around the polling station in Dara Adam Khel, whereas, a mob has interrupted the polling process who are allegedly against the merger of tribal districts in KP province.
It was learnt that the outrageous crowd had stopped the polling and snatched ballot boxes.

Earlier on Sunday, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Senator Shibli Faraz convoy had come under attack by armed assailants in the Darra Adam Khel area of Kohat district.
The incident had happened when the federal minister was travelling back to Peshawar after casting his vote in his hometown constituency Kohat.
Armed assailants had hurled stones at a vehicle of Shibli Faraz and ran away from the scene.
The PTI leader had remained unhurt in the attack while his driver got injured which was shifted to Peshawar hospital.
Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed had condemned the attack on Federal Minister Shibli Faraz and has summoned a report from IGP KPK.
