KARACHI: Unknown gunmen opened fire outside the house of renowned social worker Ansar Burney at the area of North Nazimabad area on late Friday night, ARY News reports.
Ansar Burney confirmed that the firing incident had taken place and added that the hitmen were travelling in a car. He also said that he was being threatened earlier.
According to sources, the social worker was in his house when the incident took place whereas he had arrived few days ago.
He claimed that he is not feeling afraid and will continue his social work.
"I am ready to sacrifice everything for humanity", he added.
