According to details, unknown attackers targeted Rao Mashkoor outside his residence, who was immediately taken to a hospital yet he succumbed to the injuries on the way.
Rao Mashkoor was brother-in-law of the Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan.
Meanwhile, the Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and sought a report on it from RPO Sahiwal.
