According to details, police encountered two terrorists near Northern Bypass who opened fire on police personnel. Both the terrorists were killed in retaliatory fire by police.
Police sources claim that the terrorists belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Firearms and explosive material were recovered from their custody.
Two dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter in Boat Basin area of the city.
Police claim to recover firearms and a motorcycle from the killed dacoits. Dead bodies of the criminals were taken to the hospital for a postmortem.
