According to SSP Junaid Shaikh, the law enforcement agencies arrested a hitman named Shahid Qadri from New Karachi area who is said to be affiliated to a political party.
The SSP said that Qadri was involved in target killing of citizens, police officers and political opponents. He added that the hitman has confessed murdering several people and an activist of the political party he was working for.
On the other hand, the counter-terrorism department nabbed a suspected target killer named Adil Baloch from Dalmia who confessed killing 24 persons including police officers and carrying out bomb explosions.
Police said that raids are being carried out for the arrest of Baloch’s accomplices.
