Two suspects of Razzaqabad attack killed, says Police

KARACHI: The law enforcement agencies in an operation in Gulshan e Bunair killed two accused of Razzaqabad attack, ARY News reported on Monday. 

Paramilitary Rangers and Police contingents launched a joint operation in Landhi's Gulshan e Bunair area. The terrorists hurled grenades at security forces during the operation in counter attack the law enforcers killed two terrorists, sources said. 

The terrorists killed in the operation were linked with a banned militant group and they were involved in Razzaqabad police bus attack, Rangers sources said. 

At least 13 policemen were killed and over 50 injured in a powerful bomb blast near Razzaqabad Training Centre on past Thursday.

The terrorists attacked the police bus at main National Highway near Razzaqabad police training centre. ​ 

Bomb Disposal Squad had said the explosives weighing around 25 kilograms were used in the terrorist act.

Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had claimed responsibility of the police bus attack.

TTP has also been engaged in a peace dialogue with the government while carrying out its campaign against the Pakistani state.

Thousands of Pakistani civilians and members of the security forces have been killed and injured in rampant attacks and acts of sabotage across the country.
