According to Police, they signalled to stop a vehicle at Jubilee Town area of Lahore, which was responded with fire from the suspected robbers in the car.
Policemen retorted with counter fire killing two alleged robbers whereas two others managed to escape from the scene.
A police officer was also injured in the exchange of fire.
The bodies of the slain dacoits were shifted to Jinnah Hospital of Lahore whereas the search for their accomplices has been launched.
