A body was recovered from Chakiwara area of Lyari. Police said that the victim was abducted and later killed after being tortured.
Overnight, 45 year old Javed was killed and 35 year old Mohammad Boota was wounded in a firing incident at Old truck terminal at Mauripur area.
Law enforcing agencies have said that Javed and Boota were employees of a goods transport company and have hinted at extortion as the cause of the killing.
