The court hearing the case has partially accepted the petition filed by Musharraf to include other members of his cabinet in the treason case against him.
The court in its verdict has ordered the federal government to hold investigation against former Prime Minister Shoukat Aziz, federal minister Zahid Hamid who was the minister of law at that time, and former chief justice of Supreme Court Justice (Retd.) Abdul Hameed Dogar and include their names in the new petition.
