Funeral prayers of three martyred soldiers who embraced martyrdom during a gunfight with terrorists in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan were performed with full military honours, ARY News reported on Monday.
According to the details released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the three soldiers embraced martyrdom including Subedar Asghar Ali, Sepoy Nasim Khan and Sepoy Muhamad Zaman, while fighting with the terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.

The funeral prayers of the martyred soldiers were performed with full military honours. The military and civilian officials and a large number of people attended the funeral prayers.
“Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the military’s media wing further said.
Earlier, a Pakistan Army soldier Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir embraced martyrdom in a gunfight between terrorists and the troops in the South Waziristan district.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement, the fire exchange took place between the troops and terrorists in the Ladha area of the South Waziristan district on June 5, 2023.
It added that the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.
However, during an intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir (age 30 years, resident of District Mansehra) having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat. Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
