SAHIWAL ROAD ACCIDENT : At least three people, including two women, were killed and three others wounded in a car, motorcycle-rickshaw collision on the outskirts of Sahiwal on the Monday morning, ARY News reported.
According to police and rescue sources, the road accident took place when an over-speeding car rammed into a motorcycle-rickshaw on the highway, leaving one dead and five people critically injured.
The five injured were rushed to a medical facility in Sahiwal where two of them succumbed to their injuries. The rest injured persons were stated to be in a precarious condition.
The incident took place due to the rickshaw driver taking the wrong side of the highway, police and rescue sources said.
