According to SSP Nauman Siddiqui, three persons identified as Fazal Khaliq alias Munno, Mohammad Ali and Usman alias Chataki came faced off against a police officer as they arrived at Paposh area after carrying out robberies.
The SSP added that they killed the police officer in fear of being arrested and fled with the cop’s sub-machine gun.
He added that Khaliq, Ali and Usman used to commit robberies in Rizvia, Nazimabad, Azizabad, Aziz Bhatti and PIB Colony areas of the metropolis.
