Iranian President was addressing the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
“The terrorists are using religious education as a mode to fulfill their objectives,” Rouhani said.
The Iranian president said that the world community can defeat terrorists with joint efforts. He further said that the 9/11 incident created a troublesome situation for the whole Middle East region.
He said that the whole world became insecure in the trail of events following the September 11 attacks. He stated that one region cannot be made secure by putting the others at stake.
