According to details, terrorists laced with sophisticated weapons attacked a Khasadar force check-post in Mohmand Agency. Several officials were killed in the attack and multiple were injured, as attackers ran away. The injured and dead bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Before this, during the night terrorists had also targeted and killed two officials at Ekka Ghund area of Mohmand Agency. However, the attacks did not stop there as terrorists made the Girls Primary School in Ekka Ghund area a target of another attack and blew up the school using explosive material.
After the attack, security forces started gathering evidence and initiated an investigation. A large-scale search operation is being conducted in order to apprehend the absconding militants.
Last month, terrorists had also attacked the Bacha Khan University in Charsadda and killed as many as 21 people. Multiple people had been injured during the attack on the university and all militants who had carried out the massacre, were killed by security forces.
