According to ARY News, on an intelligence clue about presence of some terror suspects in Kalli Jiyo locality of Quetta, police launched an operation with the help of intelligence agencies.
The terror suspects opened fire over the law enforcement agencies personnel. In exchange of fire a terrorist was killed and another arrested.
The arrested militant was transferred to undisclosed place for interrogation.
According to security sources, a policeman was also injured in the firing and transferred to Civil Hospital of the city for medical attendance.
The militants said to be involved in an attack on SP Saryab Zahoor Afridi some days ago, in which two policemen were killed.
