A technical fault in the FIA immigration system at the international arrivals section of Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport caused inconvenience for passengers arriving from abroad.

According to sources, the glitch occurred between 3 AM and 4 AM, leading to delays in immigration processing. As a result, long queues formed as passengers waited to complete the immigration formalities.

In response, FIA officials resorted to manual processing to manage the flow of incoming travelers at Karachi airport and ensure immigration procedures were completed.

Airport sources confirmed that the IT team promptly resolved the technical issue, and the system is now functioning normally.
