LAHORE: Pakistani test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that it will be a big challenge for his team to retain the top test ranking, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

Ever since the news of Pakistan team’s prospects of clinching the number one Test ranking spot grew brighter, the team green fans were overwhelmed with joy and began celebrating the approaching feat. And soon after its official announcement, the joy was immeasurable. 

KARACHI: Pakistan has risen to number 1 ICC Test team rankings for the first time. The team green grabbed the top spot after wet ground at the Queen Park Oval, Port of Spain, denied India the opportunity to defend the top spot which it had reclaimed from Australia on 17 August.

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday issued the fresh test ranking; Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka has once again attained the top rank in the list of Test batsman, ARY News reported.
