BERLIN: Adidas, the German maker of sportswear and equipment, announced Tuesday that it will start marketing its first series of sport shoes manufactured by robots in Germany from 2017.

MUNICH: German sporting goods maker Adidas aims to open its first fully automated shoe factory in Germany next year, part of an effort to bring manufacturing back closer to its consumers in more affluent countries.
