Saba Qamar

Saba Qamar is one of the top Pakistani film and television actresses, best known for her brilliant portrayal of the singer Noor Jehan in the acclaimed biographical movie ‘Manto’. She began her career with television series and made her way to television films and feature films. She gained recognition as an actress owing to the unconventional roles she portrayed.

She is a commercially and critically acclaimed actress and has won several awards for her performances. In 2017, she made her debut in the Hindi film industry, with the movie ‘Hindi Medium’. Some of her work that have earned much appreciation include ‘Lahore Se Aagey’, ’Dhoop Mein Andhera Hain’ and ‘Jinnah Ke Naam’

Saba Qamar entered the entertainment industry and made her acting debut with the television series ‘Main Aurat Hoon’. Other television projects that she has been part of include ‘Jinnah Ke Naam’, ‘Tinkay’, ‘Dastaan’, ‘Uraan’, ‘Maat’, ‘Pani Jaisa Pyar’, ‘Shehryar Shehzadi’, ‘Ullu Baraye Parokht Nahi’, ‘Kaisay Tum Se Kahoon’, ‘Main Chand Si’, ‘Bunty I Love You’, ‘Main Sitara’, ‘Sangat’ and ‘Besharam’. In 2013, she made her first appearance in television film ‘Aina’ that earned her much appreciation. In 2015, she made her feature film debut with the biographical movie Manto’. Her brilliant portrayal of the singer Noor Jehan in the movie established her as one of the leading actresses of the Urdu cinema.
