MADRID: International critics have voted "Mad Max: Fury Road" as their best film of the year, their main federation said Tuesday.

"Boyhood," Michael Keaton and Julianne Moore were among the top winners at the 20th annual Critics Choice Movie Awards on Thursday, winning best picture and director, actor and actress.

Richard Linklater's 12 years of toiling on coming-of-age tale "Boyhood" reaped a coveted nomination on Tuesday for the top Directors Guild Award, which has correctly predicted the best director Oscar for 10 of the last 11 years.
