The chairman NDMA said another flight with PPEs from China will reach Pakistan on August 31. 

The NDMA spokesperson said that a new consignment of PPEs was dispatched to KP and Balochistan.

64,000 surgical and N95 masks have been dispatched to Balochistan, while 29,395 protective suits and 37,000 gowns have also been sent.

Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal  thanked the Chinese government for the help on behalf of people and government of Pakistan.

Abdul Razak Dawood said in its Twitter message that a notification has been released to allow export of PPEs and hand sanitizers.

Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan have received ICU ventilators and BIPAP machines.

PMA Sindh general-secretary Dr Manzoor Ali criticised that the provincial government has deceived doctors by claiming to spend over Rs2.56 billion funds in the name of coronavirus pandemic.

After the successful talks, it was announced to initiate screening of all doctors, nurses and paramedical staff besides providing the best medical and quarantine facilities to those infected with the coronavirus.

The protection equipment was sent to the hospitals of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Punjab in order to ensure the protection of medics fighting COVID-19 pandemic on the front line.
