Members of the Contact Group reviewed recent developments relating to Jammu and Kashmir, including the grave human rights and humanitarian situation in IIOJK and the tensions along the LoC.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that OIC Contact Group backed the stance of Pakistan and rejected the Indian moves to change the demographic structure of IOJK.

The session will be attended by representatives from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and other member countries.

NEW YORK: "Pakistan is committed to finding a just and peaceful solution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolutions, which is reflective of the aspirations of the Kashmiri people," said the Adviser to PM on National Security & Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, while addressing a meeting of OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir in New York on Tuesday.
