Livestock department has sought an approval of Rs 620 million for the relief of animals in calamity-hit lower Sindh areas.

In a bid to prevent people from mosquito-borne disease, malaria, the federal government has decided to distribute 3.4 million insecticide-treated mosquito nets, worth Rs1.75bn, among the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, said sources.
