Earthquake: Landslides block Karakoram Highway, disrupt Optic Fiber link

The earthquake triggered landslides in the region at various points which blocked Karakoram Highway near Murtazaabad, Nilt Nagar and Sost after landslides hit it, the police department of the region said.

Tourists stranded following closure of Karakoram Highway

The local administration has failed to resume traffic on Karakoram Highway located between Gilgit and Chilas which was closed for 25 hours.
