KARACHI: Since September 2013, at least 80, 000 suspects have been arrested during 17,000 operations across Sindh out of which over 1,500 are those who have been involved in murders and target killings, said a report regarding Sindh government’s performance presented before the Supreme Court Karachi Registry on Thursday.
KARACHI: Officials of the Pakistan Rangers Sindh today submitted a report in the Supreme Court (SC) Karachi Registry which raised questions over the performance of Sindh government and police, while the paramilitary force also requested for more powers to restore peace in the megapolis, ARY News reported.
KARACHI: The Supreme Court is set to resume hearing pertaining to the implementation of directives issued to maintain law and order in the metropolis from today. Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali will head the larger bench, ARY News reported.
