Fans of the Hollywood franchise 'Home Alone' are calling for the remake of its third film 'Home Alone 3' after its fan-made trailer, imagining a grown-up Macaulay Culkin returning as Kevin McCallister, went viral on YouTube.

Scorsese -- a master of big-screen gangland classics from "Goodfellas" to the "The Departed" -- recently told viewers: "please don't look at it on a phone ... a big iPad, maybe."

Scorsese and actor Robert De Niro started planning the film adaptation of Charles Brandt's book "I Heard You Paint Houses" 12 years ago.
