KARACHI: A local court in the city on Thursday rejected a petition seeking repatriation of Geeta, a deaf and mute girl stuck in Pakistan for 15 years, to India.
Deaf and mute Geeta, aged in her early 20s, lives in Edhi Foundation in Mithadar. News of her plight surfaced in 2012 but no progress was made in tracing her roots.
