Punjab relieves DPO Bahawalnagar for taking action against MNA’s close aide

LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has surrendered the services of District Police Officer (DPO) Bahawalnagar, Shariq Kamal, to the federal government on the directions of PM Secretariat after he got a case registered against close aide of a member of the National Assembly (MNA) who allegedly tortured police officials for intercepting his car while being drunk.
