Federal Minister for National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani on Thursday said that public hospitals were providing free healthcare services to dengue patients.

Inaugurating a free screening camp for hepatitis B,C and TB at police Headquarters Islamabad, Aamer Mehmood Kiani said that as per the vision of the prime minister, the government initiated multiple projects to transform the federal capital into a model health city and added that 'hepatitis free Islamabad' was one of such examples.

“We will make Islamabad a model city of health,” Aamer Mehmood Kiani said.

In the wake of illegal hike in medicine prices, Minister for National Health Services (NHS) Aamer Mehmood Kiani here on Wednesday said that they had decided to introduce an online facility through which people would be able to verify the prices of medicines.

Inaugurating a model centre for infectious disease in Islamabad, Federal Minister of National Health Services Aamer Mehmood Kiani aid that the government would provide all the testing and treatment facilities for hepatitis B, C and Tuberculosis (TB) patients free of cost.
