According to details, a youngster named Altaf allegedly used to molest children younger than his age in Mian Channu’s Ghareebabad area.
The residents of the area got hold of Altaf and severely thrashed him. They handed him over to the Police on the condition that they will not release the suspected child molester after taking bribe.
The law enforcement agencies have launched the investigation of the incident.
It should be noted that a national outcry against child molestation had emerged after when almost 400 tapes of children being molested were discovered from Kasur.
