Sumbul Shahid, sister to Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas, is on the ventilator following a prolonged battle with COVID, confirmed Abbas.
Abbas took to Instagram to share the news with fans and followers, posting a picture with her sister whom she referred to as ‘baji’. “Meri piyari baji is on a ventilator… plz pray for her comeback,” she wrote.

Shahid was diagnosed with COVID earlier this month and the news was corroborated by Bushra Ansari, her sister, on her official Instagram account. “My darling sister sumbul Shahid is fighting a battle with Coronavirus these days… pls pray for her speedy recovery,” Ansari had posted.
