Is ‘STCU’ (Stranger Things Cinematic Universe) officially a thing now? One of the showrunners, Shawn Levy almost confirmed the first crossover with Ryan Reynold’s ‘Deadpool’.

While the streaming giant Netflix has already confirmed a spin-off to the sci-fi horror drama, seems like the fictional Hawkins town of Indiana is soon going to be invaded by Merc with a Mouth as spilt by director Shawn Levy at the recently-held Emmys red carpet.

Speaking to media reporters about ‘Stranger Things Cinematic Universe’, Levy said, “Yes, we are building out the STCU, and now that I’m spending time with Kevin Feige [MCU CEO], I’m learning a lot about how to manage a universe.”

“So I’m taking those skills and applying them to the STCU,” added Levy.

Levy who is set to direct Reynolds once again in the third film of the ‘Deadpool’ series, when questioned about the possibility of ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Stranger Things’ crossover, replied, “Funnily enough, Ryan [Reynolds] and I were trying to figure out how in the world could we do a ‘Deadpool’‘Stranger Things’ crossover.”

“We haven’t cracked it yet, but it’s on the table.”

It is to be noted here that this is not the first time, Levy wants to include the Marvel antihero in the Netflix series. Previously, he expressed the desire to see Reynolds in the fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things’ as well.
