This he said while talking to the newsmen in Islamabad here today.

“Desire for peace should not be taken as our weakness, Pakistan will respond to any misadventure from the Indian side,” he vowed.

“Pakistan is a peace loving country having no aggressive designs against anyone, but the statements coming from the Indian leadership, can put the regional peace at stake,” Qureshi warned.

He urged the international community to convey the message to the Indian leadership to refrain from negative propaganda.

Talking about the PM Khan’s recent visit to Turkey, the FM said Pakistan and Turkey have chalked out 5-year long joint financial framework, aimed to lift the country’s economy.

Terming the visit successful, Qureshi said one on one meeting of Turkish President and PM Khan lasted for more than 2 hours.

“Mr Erdogan will visit Pakistan soon along with the business personalities,” he continued.

Focusing on the Afghan issue, the minister said Pakistan supports every effort to bring stability to Afghanistan as per desire of the international community.

He said Indian propaganda machine may force Pakistan to divert its attention from Afghanistan, which can be disastrous for peace in the region.
