According to sources, security forces carried out a door-to-door search at Kot Sultan area of D.I. Khan after receiving information of presence of terrorists in the area.
The terrorists attacked the security forces during the search operation.
Three militants were killed in the retaliatory fire by the forces whereas three of their accomplices blew them up during the search operation.
Ten other suspects were also rounded up in the operation.
