Talking to media at Lahore High Court (LHC), Asma Jehangir said that along with protest demonstrations and long marches, sit-ins also add to the beauty of democracy, but seeking the resignation of the prime minister through these sit-ins will weaken the democracy in state.
She said that those staging sit-ins will have to review their demand.
In response to a question, Ms Jehangir said that the suicide attack on Maulana Fazlur Rahman is a condemnable act, adding that those involved in it must be arrested and punished accordingly.
