The notification of Shahid Hayat’s appointment as DIG CID has been issued.
The police officer became one of the prominent figures in the targeted operations in Karachi.
It should be noted that the Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the ruling party in Sindh Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), had urged the provincial government to appoint a brave and honest police officer for the post.
However, the coalition parties in the provincial government had serious differences over the appointment of Shahid Hayat as DIG CID.
