The stations will remain close on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced in a statement that the decision of CNG stations’ three-day holiday in a week has been taken due to low gas pressure at one of the gas fields. The name of the field was not stated in the gas utility’s announcement.
On the other hand, the CNG Owners Association have refused to close the stations and announced to stage a sit-in against the decision outside the head office of SSGC.
Provincial Minister for Finance Murad Ali Shah has asked the federal government to end the frequent closure of CNG stations in the province.
