ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) Chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has forwarded the draft of amendment in the Article 6 of the Constitution to the Senate on Tuesday – ARY News reports.
According to details, it is demanded in the draft that the word 'high treason' should be replaced with 'crime against state' and also to amend the Criminal Law Act 1973.
Meanwhile, the PPP Punjab chapter's president, Mian Manzoor Watto has also supported Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain's statement regarding the trial against Pervez Musharraf.
He claimed that General (R) Pervez Musharraf will be given a safe passage out, like Nawaz Sharif.
