According to Arab TV, meeting of moon sightings committee were called on the appeal of Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court. The committee after receiving several acknowledgments of moon sighting from different parts of the country announced the beginning of Shawwal.
Similarly, Jordan, Qatar Turkey, Australia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia have also said Eid al-Fitr would begin tomorrow.
The largest gathering of Eid prayer will be held at Makkah in Masjid ul Harm where millions of people will perform Eid prayer.
On the other, the Royat e Hilal Committee Pakistan with its head Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman in chair, will meet in Karachi tomorrow for sighting of the Shawwal moon. Provincial moon sighting committees will also meet at their respective headquarters to decide about the moon.
