BANNU: At least seven people including Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) candidate were injured when his convoy came under bomb attack in Bannu, ARY News reported.
The blast took place in Takhti Khel area in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Seven people including the election candidate were injured in a remote controlled blast.
Malik Shireen, who is the contesting for PK-89 constituency, was on his way to political gathering with his supporters when a blast hit his convoy.
According to police, the explosive device was attached to a motorcycle which detonated near his convoy. The injured have been shifted to District Hospital Bannu.
