Seven killed in traffic accidents in Karachi

Seven people including a minor were killed in Pakistan’s biggest metropolis in separate traffic accidents.

Police sources said that a high speed bus ran over a footpath near Liaquatabad flyover of the city killing four people. The bus was en-route to Karachi from Hyderabad.

One person was killed on the spot while eight others were injured as a result of the accident. The injured were moved to the hospital where three critically injured were succumbed to their injuries.

Enraged passengers set fire to the bus after the accident and thrashed the driver severely before handing him over to police.

Another traffic accident which killed a minor happened near Baldia Khyber Chowk. Separate accidents in Khokhrapar and Sabzi Mandi area killed two persons.
